Applications
Outages, turnarounds and shipyards
The unit is the same idea everywhere — plant power stepped down to GFCI-protected receptacles at the work. Two environments add requirements of their own, and have their own pages.
Nuclear Temporary Power
Refuel and uprate outages run on the critical path. Units built for nuclear sites carry the documentation, the GFCI protection and the ruggedness a plant QA department expects.
Shipyard and Ship-to-Shore Power
Welding, grinding and tool power aboard ships under construction or repair — stackable, fork-slot units with decontactor-style arc-flash receptacles, UL Listed to UL 1640.
Fossil plants, refineries and chemical plants
Planned outages and turnarounds run to a schedule that temporary power must not slow down. Units for these sites are the standard portable and stationary designs, specified to the supply and loads on the day: welding at primary voltage, tools and lighting at 120 V, everything GFCI protected. Start with the products, or send us the outage scope.
