Scope

These terms govern your use of this website, which is operated by JNT Technical Services, Inc.. They are not terms of sale. Any purchase of equipment is governed by the quotation, order acknowledgement, and warranty documents issued for that order.

The Cart Designer

The Cart Designer on this site helps you describe the unit you need. It is a specification worksheet, not an engineering review: it works from the figures you enter, and it cannot see your site, your supply or your loads.

Every unit is engineered to the quotation and order that follow. The suitability of a unit for a given supply, load and environment, and compliance with the codes that apply at your site, are confirmed at that stage — not by the worksheet. Where you are unsure, call us before ordering; we would rather specify it with you.

Information on this site

Product descriptions, specifications, and performance figures on this site are provided for general reference and may change without notice. They are not a substitute for the specifications, drawings, and instructions issued with a specific order. Where a published figure and an order document disagree, the order document governs.

Installation and operation

Porta-Safe units distribute electrical power. Connection to a supply, operation, and periodic testing of GFCI protection must be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with the operation manual issued with the unit and the electrical codes that apply at the site. Nothing published here replaces that manual.
